Design for Everyone

Advocating for affordable design

A graduate of the accredited interior design program from the University of Arkansas, Beverly continued her education by taking the NCIDQ Exam to become a nationally certified designer, while working full-time for an architect + engineering firm. Gaining experience in both commercial and residential design, Beverly decided to start her own design business and named it ‘Modoa’ (pronounced Muh-Doe-Uh). Specializing in residential design, she expanded her knowledge base to include real estate and joined Lindsey & Associates, Inc.

During her internship with National Home Centers, Inc., Beverly had the opportunity to design in AutoCAD, program the CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machine, and manage the installation of the circular granite counter tops located in the lobby of the Lindsey building in Fayetteville. So, it just seemed natural to continue pursuing her passion with the Lindsey family.

For over a decade, Beverly has been a small business owner in Northwest Arkansas and understands the importance of honesty, integrity, and courage. These three things continue to be a part of her business model and what propel her to offer her services to those on a budget. Beverly believes, “Our homes should be havens, the places we unwind and recharge after a hectic week or day, to make special memories and share time with those we love.” It is because of this belief, she historically donates her time and money transforming people’s homes, as well as their lives, because everyone deserves access to affordable design.
